Picometrix has been a leading supplier of high-speed optical receivers and terahertz instrumentation since 1992. Our suite of optical receivers and detectors are suitable for use in the telecommunications, data communications, and test & measurement markets. Our core competencies include epitaxial growth, photodetector design and microfabrication, high-speed microwave packaging, hybrid circuit assembly and high-speed testing. We are dedicated to serving our customers by providing the highest performance and highest quality products available in both Telcordia qualified and environmentally sealed packages.

Our products address the entire range of 10 Gbps, 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps optical communication applications utilizing proprietary PIN, APD and waveguide photodiodes. Bandwidths range from 2 GHz to 60 GHz, with sensitivities up to -29 dBm at 10 Gbps, and cover wavelengths from 400 nm to 1650 nm.

In addition to high-speed optical receivers and detectors, our ultrafast instrumentation products include time-domain terahertz instrumentation for imaging and spectroscopy applications as well as ultrafast photoconductive probes for high-speed semiconductor diagnostics. We offer a full suite of standard components and instrumentation and the ability to customize products for unique requirements.
